… “art gardens” were rediscovered. Art historians and archeologists catalogued them and made inventories of them. This form of conservation is called “protection”. Thus today – in addition to countless dilapidated gardens – magnificently cared for, even historically reconstructed gardens are open to the tourist or flower enthusiast and to the longing for exercise and fresh air. |
