RASUMOFSKY GARDEN
/
University of Applied Arts Vienna, a garden for students of graphic arts, 3000 m², 1992-1999 |
|
|
Giving students a real field of experimentation – a garden – can help them, perhaps better than work on paper can, to explore important skills,
such as problem solving, perseverance, readiness to take creative risks, and dealing with time and unexpected setbacks. Garden work can be
a metaphor for a comprehensive artistic process, beyond the notion of art being a "product".
