Reininghaus Stadium
At present sport is the most important plane of osculation/meeting point between man and nature. The ‘R-stadium’ emphasizes this fact in the centre of the new quarter. The park dimensions the social aspects of sport all new.
Popular top athletes who are no longer active in their sports careers are won over as tutors for juveniles and ambitioned seniors for a period of 1 – 3 years. Sport instructors and social workers assist them in their work.
The sport grounds are bordered by 40 m wide lawns, which are raise to steep curves on the broader sides. They are dynamising signs pointing inwards and sport sculptures towards the outside. The lawn can be used as relaxing greens and spectator plain alike.
