Reining houses
Garden interventions create a network of relationships between Graz-Reininghaus and its surrounding. However, the new centre
will be clearly highlighted. Elements, as for example listed objects, traces of the industrial culture and older, conservation-worthy groves
will be granted formative power. Reining houses are intensively looked after sites that serve as encounter points with plants and animals and
accommodate meditative stays."The wall" is erected as strongest space-creating object. It is the starting point for garden areas and spaces
(horizontally as well as vertically). It defines future architectural figures and is an independent landmark, an interface of nature and city.
