Artistic analysis of the garden and thoughts on a new arrangement
The villa's history has been thoroughly documented - see Achleitner, Kosicek-Schöberl, Sekler and others. The reconstruction of the garden after decades of neglect should extend beyond mere restoration to reflect the changed social environment and the inclinations of today's owners and also lend the project an artistic expression. Needless to say, this must take place with due respect for the creation of Josef Hoffmann.
