There was much resistance against the new building in front of the famous Gothic dome (highest spire of the world, 166 m). A mediation concept was to be developed to “seduce opponent citizens in an intelligent way” and to demonstrate European dimensions of the difficult relationship between historic and contemporary architecture. |
